Shocktech SFL Emag
Good lord this took forever to track down, at least for a decent price. My problem is I remember when these sold for $800-1200 in mid 2005. Yea, not so much 10 years later – they are all $1800 and up, usually in the $2500-3000 range – due to one enthusiastic buyer. That’s the funny thing about the paintball market, you can get one hoarder to spike prices – we saw that on Aurora cockers, SFL mags, Westwood cockers, the beat goes on…
Anyway, after owning around 5 Xmag variations, I finally tracked down this dust silver SFL. It needed a little TLC on the battery pack (anno and new battery) and was in average condition, but it was all stock (no ACE, Shocktech 2.1 software) and pretty sweet. I planned on using this in play on a regular basis, but I always had battery pack troubles with my mags – prob due to how inoften I play.
It was the most expensive marker in my collection for years, and I remember eating it when I sold it as the collector was no longer corning the marketing and creating artificially high prices.
